Now it was time for Ray to do what he was born to do. After 30 years of practicing Architecture, Ray took time to reflect on his career and the new life direction he would choose to fuel his passion and feed his soul. Apply his architectural expertise with a focus on vintage garage interiors with a retro look incorporating oil and gas memorabilia.<br> <br> A product of the fifties, Ray grew up in Southern California, the undisputed car capital of the US, where he currently resides. It was during this time that Ray was exposed to the golden era of the 50‘s classic cars, and then into his teens with the 60‘s and early 70‘s muscle cars. <br> Having achieved the rare distinction of owning four Z28 Camaro’s before graduating from USC with a degree in Architecture, Ray was a certified gearhead and car enthusiast. Throughout his architectural career, you could always find Ray in the garage during his spare time. <br> <br> Over the years, Ray’s car collection has included Z28 Camaro's, Corvette, Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Harley Davidson, and his 1955 Ford F-100 frame off restoration just recently completed. Currently under the knife is a frame off jeep wrangler restoration inspired by the rigors of extreme off-roading. <br> <br> Time spent in the garage evolved into an extension of living space, mandating the necessity of developing a space that was not only functional, but comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to allow creativity and stimulate production. Drawing from his architectural profession where he has been involved in the design and management of large scale projects, including a strong background in commercial interiors, it was only natural for Ray to apply his expertise to the garage.
